With the slogan Stadt.Land.Tech (City.Country.Tech), the Smart Country Convention supports a level playing field for digital living and working in cities and rural areas. In addition to mobility and energy, sustainability, data platforms and current tech trends, #SCCON23 will also offer a stage for municipal practice.
Digital administration
According to a Bitkom survey, close to 9 out of 10 citizens (88 percent) in Germany would like their city or municipal administration to pursue the topic of digitalization with more vigour. In the area of digital administration, the stages will therefore focus, among other things, on the digitalization of citizen services, justice and education. But important security issues such as the protection of state infrastructures, cyber security and cloud solutions will also be the focus at the Smart Country Convention 2023.
Digital citizen services
Citizen services are the responsibility of the administration and combine the most diverse concerns of citizens, for example registering and re-registering their place of residence or applying for a personal ID.
