Our big stage for digital innovation in the public sector
That was it, the seventh edition of the Smart Country Convention! More than 18,000 participants, over 400 partners, around 17,000 m2 of exhibition space and over 650 speakers on 7 stages - Germany's leading event for the digital state, public services and smart cities was once again a complete success!
For the first time, seven federal ministries enriched the program, along with more international contributions than ever before across the seven event stages. In addition to Federal Minister of the Interior and Patron Nancy Faeser, top speakers this year included Federal Minister of Agriculture Cem Özdemir, Federal Minister for Digital Affairs Dr. Volker Wissing, Federal Minister for Family Affairs Lisa Paus, and the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Kai Wegner.
This year's partner country, Latvia, presented itself at SCCON as a global leader in digitalization and data security. President Edgars Rinkēvičs and Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis provided valuable insights into how the country is advancing the digitalization of its administration.
We would like to thank all visitors, speakers, exhibitors and partners. The next Smart Country Convention will take place from September 30 to October 02, 2025. We can't wait to see you next year in Berlin and promise to deliver you a vibrant event again. See you at #SCCON25!
