Expo highlight: MeisterTask - Are German communities making progress with digitalisation?

We surveyed 1,296 German mayors on the state of digitalization in their administrations. Come find out what they told us — and how MeisterTask is helping them achieve their goals.

More than 2,000 public sector organisations — including the City of Karlsruhe, Landeshauptstadt Dresden and Bezirksregierung Arnsberg — already run their day-to-day work on MeisterTask. Meister, the company behind MeisterTask, has been building productivity tools since 2006 and knows this market inside out.

That knowledge comes from listening as much as building. In our second annual Digitalization Report in collaboration with forsa, we surveyed 1,296 German mayors to understand what's holding administrations back from AI and digital productivity tool adoption. The findings: 48% of mayors report higher digitalization budgets than three years ago, and 78% have introduced new software — yet municipalities rate their own state of digitalization at just 3.7, identical to last year. The gap that stands out most to us: 84% of mayors believe digital tools improve efficiency, but only 25% actually use a task or project management tool to run day-to-day work.

Stop by to see the full findings and tell us how they compare to your own experience. Find our digitalization experts at Hall 26a, Stand 540 to talk through best practices for running tasks, projects, and approvals from one shared Kanban board, with automations handling the busywork in between. Tell us what's missing where you work, and let's talk through what could be improved.
