With the Smart Country Startup Award, Bitkom promotes outstanding solutions and innovative concepts relating to smart cities and digital administration.
Startups can submit their ideas and prototypes in summer 2025: The selected finalists will get the chance to pitch their projects in front of a broad audience and a jury of experts at #SCCON25.

As part of the Smart Country Convention, DefTech Day 2025 on September 30, 2025, offers a dynamic platform for startups shaping the future of defense technology.
Key focus areas include Software Defined Defense, Unmanned Systems, and the use of Artificial Intelligence in security-related contexts.
