Smart Country Convention 2025: Call for Speakers and ticket shop now open

From smart infrastructure to IT security and artificial intelligence (AI), these three topics will be the focus of the Smart Country Convention 2025. The leading event for the digitalisation of the public sector will take place from 30 September to 2 October at the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds. From now on, anyone interested can apply to participate in the programme on one of the seven conference stages. At the same time, the ticket shop opens for all participants of the event.
Wanted: digital pioneers of the public sector
With the Call for Speakers 2025, the Smart Country Convention (SCCON) is giving national and international drivers of innovation in the public sector the opportunity to present their ideas and solutions for digital cities and authorities. We are looking for projects along this year's main topics that will enrich the stage programme of the Smart Country Convention in 15-minute sessions.
‘Our call for speakers is aimed at designers from all fields and levels of the public sector. After more than 200 submissions last year, we are looking forward to numerous new ideas and speakers on our stages again in 2025,’ says Kevin Helmuth, Project Manager for Trade Fairs and Events at Bitkom Servicegesellschaft mbH.
Those interested can apply online with their German or English-language proposals until 2 May 2025. All details on the review and examination of contributions can be found on the SCCON website and in the Call for Speakers Guidelines 2025.
Free event tickets now available
The ticket shop for the Smart Country Convention 2025 is opening at the same time as the call for speakers. Visitors can now secure their tickets for the event and actively shape the digitalisation of the public sector together with over 18,000 participants.
‘The official opening of our ticket shop has increased anticipation for the Smart Country Convention. We are delighted with the tremendous response from our exhibiting partners and the numerous bookings we have already received,’ emphasised Jusuf Hadziselimovic, project manager of the Smart Country Convention at Messe Berlin.
