Start for the Smart Country Startup Award 2025 - clear the stage for digital visionaries

Whether AI in urban planning, smart charging stations or a digital twin as an image of the city - many start-ups are already thinking about the administration and urban planning of tomorrow. The Smart Country Startup Award (SCSA) is looking for innovative ideas and concepts that will take the public sector to the next level.

Startups can now apply for the Smart Country Startup Award 2025 - in the GovTech and Smart City categories. We are looking for early-stage, visionary projects that have the potential to sustainably develop cities, municipalities and administrations.

Live pitch at the Smart Country Convention

The best teams will present themselves live on the Plaza Stage at the Smart Country Convention in Berlin on 1 October. They will pitch in front of a panel of experts and a large audience for prize money, a coveted stage slot at SCCON 2026 and a free one-year membership of Get Started, Bitkom's start-up initiative.
