Anyone who uses AI provided by a single, externally controlled provider relinquishes their autonomy. The US CLOUD Act obliges US providers to hand over data, even if the servers are located in Europe. According to the Bitkom Cloud Report 2026, 85 per cent of decision-makers in German companies already consider Germany to be too dependent on US providers when it comes to cloud technologies. Sovereign AI turns this logic on its head: in-house operation, free choice of model, full control over the system and data.

At its stand, Ubitec is showcasing hands-on sovereign AI: on-premises and VS-NfD-compatible, model-agnostic, with over 30 ready-to-use AI apps in productive use. Workplace ai (Ubitec AI Portal) provides specialist departments with their own AI assistants without the need for programming, whilst Customer ai (Ubitec Chatbot Framework) handles initial contact for members of the public around the clock. A VoiceBot will be available to test directly at the stand.

On stage, Ubitec, together with partners from the State of Hesse, ITZBund and BMDS, will present three real-world case studies, complemented by a workshop in the Experience Lab:
