The countdown to the Smart Country Convention 2026 is on – in four days’ time, the doors will open and the Berlin Exhibition Centre will once again become the meeting place for the public sector. Media representatives can expect around 850 high-profile speakers from the worlds of politics, public administration and business, as well as 1,000 keynote speeches, panel discussions and interactive sessions.

This year’s Smart Country Convention takes place from 13 to 15 October. It opens daily at 9 am. Day one ends at 10 pm with the Networking Night. At the end of day two, the Smart Country Start-up Award ceremony takes place until 6.30 pm. The third and final day of the event concludes with the closing ceremony at 4.30 pm.

We recommend travelling by public transport – the ‘Messe Süd’ S-Bahn station is about a 10-minute walk from the entrance to hub27.

If you’re travelling by car, there is free parking at Olympischer Platz. From there, a free shuttle bus runs directly to hub27. Further information on how to get there is available here on the website.
