Expo highlight SAP Sovereign Cloud: Digital sovereignty for the public sector

The Delos Cloud is designed to be sovereign and technology-neutral. It uses Microsoft technology but is physically separated so that data remains in Germany. However, solutions from other providers or open-source solutions can also be used. This combination of proven cloud services and open technologies ensures full control to use modern cloud services securely and with an open mind to innovation.

The Delos Cloud enables administrations to fully exploit the innovative power of cloud technologies without compromising on security, transparency and compliance. There are clear advantages, especially for all federal levels: administrative productivity is increased and the shortage of skilled workers is alleviated, as processes are standardised and centralised.
