Innovators wanted for the public sector

Numerous startups are driving the digital transformation forward in cities, communities and the public sector in order to make our lives easier, modern and more efficient. The new Smart Country Startup Awards have been created to support their efforts. Startups are invited to apply no later than 30 September.
The Smart Country Startup Awards will be presented in the categories Smart City and eGovernment and target startups with ideas for a smart city and digital administrations. The Smart Country Convention is the perfect place for new companies to find customers, partners and investors. A panel of experts will pick the most innovative solutions.
The six finalists will pitch for 10,000 euros of prize money.
The finalists will also
• receive a free ’Get Started’ membership
• get an opportunity to meet a large number of established companies and investors in the public sector and establish contacts
• be given a free trade stand at the Smart Country Convention
The finalists’ pitching event and awards presentation will take place at the Smart Country Convention on 21 November at the CityCube Berlin. Startups have until 30 September to submit their applicatios: a corresponding form and details of the competition can be found at www.smart-country-award.de.
