Making legislation fit for the digital age is an important challenge in ensuring that government service delivery remains modern and relevant in the everyday life of citizens and businesses. Digital-ready legislation can ensure a more efficient public sector based on the safe and secure handling of citizens’ data. This presentation gives an overview of the Danish experience in ensuring that new legislation is digital-ready and provides a handful of specific examples of what this means in practice.
